The Premier League Clubs deck has 48 cards. You won't see the order. A few of the names you might draw:

A worked spend

You have $20 for 5 picks. Spend $8 on Liverpool and you've got $12 for four more cards. The reserve rule keeps $1 back for every slot you still owe, so your next bid tops out at $9. Win Wimbledon, Blackpool, Oldham Athletic and Swindon Town at $1 each and you finish with $8 left over. That's your score. Try $5 on every card instead and the rule stops you on the fourth: $5 left, two slots to fill, so $4 is the most you can bid.

How to draft Premier League Clubs

Only a handful of these clubs win things these days, and with 48 cards and 10 picks between you, most of the deck never comes up. Don't empty your wallet on the first big name. Arsenal and City might both turn up later. The fun is in the middle, where Forest and Blackburn have both won the league and can still go for $2. Your mate supports someone. Find out who in the first bid and make them pay for it. One-season wonders like Swindon and Blackpool are the cards you give away.
