How the $20 draft works
You and a friend each get $20 of play money and five empty slots. The server shuffles the 48-card deck and deals it one card at a time. Nobody knows what's next.
Each card opens at $1. Whoever holds it takes it at $1 or gives it away, which puts it on the other roster for free (you get two gives each). Once it's taken, the other player raises or passes, back and forth against the clock.
You always keep $1 back for every slot you still need to fill, so nobody blows the lot on one card. When both rosters are full, the better list wins. That's for the two of you, or whoever you send it to, to argue about. The money is your budget, not your score.
Three to six of you? A group room plays it as an open auction: every card goes to whoever bids most. Full rules and strategy.
Formula 1 Drivers draft FAQ
How do you play the Formula 1 Drivers draft?
Two players each get $20 of play money to fill a roster, five picks by default. Cards from the 48-card Formula 1 Drivers deck are dealt one at a time from a hidden, shuffled deck, and you bid against each other under a countdown. The better list wins, and arguing about whose list that is is the game.
Is the Formula 1 Drivers draft free?
Yes. Play a friend with a room link or play the bot, in the browser, with no account and no download. The money is play money: there's no wagering and nothing is paid out.
What is the most expensive card in Formula 1 Drivers?
Not enough Formula 1 Drivers cards have sold yet to say. Prices appear once a card has sold ten times.
Which Formula 1 Drivers cards get given away?
A give puts a card on the other player's roster for free. It's how you dodge a card you'd rather not pay for, and each player only has two.
What stops someone spending all $20 on one card?
The reserve rule. You always keep the minimum bid back for every slot you still have to fill, so with four slots left at a $1 minimum the most you can bid is your bankroll minus $3. The server checks every bid.
